Sikalite® Waterproofing Admixture
Sikalite is a powdered waterproofing admixture which blocks the capillaries and pores in Portland cement/sand mortars preventing the movement of moisture.
Sikalite is used to waterproof Portland cement/sand renders and mortars for application to :
- Walls
- Facades
- Floor toppings
- Jointing mortars

- Shelf Life 12 Months in original, unopened container
- Storage Store in a dry area between 5ºC and 40ºC. Protect from direct sunlight.

- Density 0,9 kg/litre
Dosage
- 1kg per 50 kg of Portland cement i.e. 2% by weight of cement.
Application
- Sikalite is added to the dry mix of Portland cement and sand prior to the addition of the gauging water.
Limitations
- Overdosing can cause retardation of set.
- Apply correct curing procedures.
